I called Herring this morning about an issue with my septic alarm.  He told me over the phone what the problem sounded like.  I texted my name and address to get on the list for them to pump and inspect my system to see why the alarm was going off.  He told me that they would be here today and would call an hour before they came.  Victor called and he and Darrell were at my house much earlier than I expected to be contacted. That was awesome because I needed to do laundry and dishes but was scared of that stupid alarm going off again!!  Those two were professional and friendly from the minute they got out of the truck.  Victor told me what he thought the problem with the alarm might be and when he got the lid off of the tank, he had been 100% correct. My husband and I both stayed outside and chatted with them.  They communicated everything that they were doing and what they were seeing and what the problem was.  Luckily, it was an extremely easy fix.  We discussed two other projects that we were considering doing and will DEFINITELY be calling Herring septic when we are ready to begin those projects.  I hope that it is Victor and Darrell that come back when we do.  We could not have asked for a more friendly, respectful and professional couple of guys!! I cannot recommend them enough and will tell everyone I know that needs septic work done to call them FIRST!!  I will not be calling anyone else.

We called on Herring Septic Service to pump our septic tank. They were here when they said they would be and explained what they were going to do. The price was fair for all they pumped out. Had an emergency septic issue, our normal septic company was out of town. So I called Herring, within 2 hours they were on site. The septic issues were address and they were professional and worked hard to solve the problem. Grateful for companies that treat customers with respect and don’t overcharge for the job. due to septic problems had to have a whole new system put in place, added an additional tank and a complete drain field. Clean up was excellent, while we have a lot of dirt right now the crew leveled it out and smoothed the ground out. Had 5 men plus Craig the boss and they worked well together, got the work done quickly and proficiently. Craig spoke with me often keeping me well informed as the work progressed. His crew were excellent at their job and never once failed to answer my questions with answers I could understand and gain knowledge from. I don’t know of any other septic service that could have given us any better service than Herring. I would highly recommend Herring Septic Service to any one needing septic work.

I spoke with the owner (Craig) on Sunday afternoon and he came out early Monday morning and drained my tank and offered instructions on how to handle problems in the future. Very prompt, professional, and a really nice person to deal with. Comes when he says he will.

Had a septic tank back up on me over the weekend. Called herring, and they helped get me through to Monday. On Monday, they showed up when they said, knocked out the job, explained some of the basics of the septic tank to help get me through any future issues, and charged a fair price. Great service, military discount as well.
